Will my employer be notified when I file Bankruptcy?

I'm about to start a new job (this week) and file BK next monday. I'm sure I'll have to list my employer, but will he be informed that I'm filing Bankruptcy? I HOPE NOT. It's a small company and a relative of mine works there. THANKS
