If this was a letter from a CA, it should have had the mini miranda. Let us know the name of the con artists trying to steal $$ from you. Thre is NO WAY they can sue you in Ca.If you are in Nev.,(a "closed" State) they are not allowed to even contact you for collections unless they are licensed and bonded in Nev. They have no claim to venue in Ca. under any circumstances. Send them a validation/cease and desist/dispute letter, opt out, file a complaint against them with the FTC and the Nev. AG office.
