I keep seeing messages here "Opt-Out immediately", so I thought I'd do that. I did and got the Opt-Out form in the mail. My question is this - since this is just a privacy data base to prevent mailings/solicitations from 3rd parties I'm confused as to what this has to do with your credit report/scores, etc.? Does this have anything to do with credit and why is it so important to do?
