they can NOT contact you

sigh. once BK is filed..they can NOT get back to you. they cannot collect legally at all from you. bills will stop....even normal ones you reaffirm. refer them to your lawyer..another reason to not do it yourself..and keep all proof for a suit on them. they simply can not do this. period. once its filed...they must shut up. the lawyer notifies the OCs. sometimes they have bad addresses and the paperwork gets lost..so always give the OC one chance and tell them a BK is filed. very few are stupid enuff to keep contacting you. its against fed law and they know it. if they keep it up..you have a nice suit against them..keep a copy of the letter you send the OC..CRRR,. saying for them to shut up or they are in violation of fed law.
