If this is Chase, your orginal creditor, they are not governed by FDCPA laws unless your state has some special protection. The best thing you can do is contact the Attorney General of your state,explain what happened, and file a complaint. If it happened after you were in bed, you might want to contact your local law enforcement officer and see if there is something called trespassing.

Unfortunately the OC has a lot of leeway to harrass debtors. My BIL suffered five months of the OC calling his landlord, his neighbors, his creditors and telling all.

He was humiliated.
