or conducting (doing) collection agency business? I live in NC, I checked with their list of those licensed to collect in NC, and CACV (Collect America) and their San Diego based attorney are not licensed (no permit listed) in NC. If they have been calling me, and sent me a letter, does that constitute operating or doing collection business?? thanks for the response.
