what state? how old accounts? diff situations ..sometimes consolidation is a good thing. sometimes not. most important is if you do it..dont fall back into the same trap that got you here to begin with. if these are COs..there is no point. if their not..maybe a good idea. depends on lots of things. never use a debt counselor or negotiation company. they are all scams. some consolidation ones are also. depends on what they want for collateral and interest rates.
