I used my cc's 1 1/2 years ago to help start up a company but then the business deal went sour and I lost the money. I did the debt & if I can, I would like to pay on it but it's just becoming overwhelming and I need to do something to get my financial situation under control. Can't keep paying the minimums each month. So I was looking into Debt Consolidation or Bankruptcy. I did not feel comfortable with the Debt Reduction companies. They seem to want alot of money up front and give no guarantees for the work. But I heard Consolidation Companies aren't always reliable either so I was hoping to find a good one out here somewhere. And I don't want to get sued by the CCs if I stop making payments even though I live in a non-garnishment state of PA. So bankruptcy is a thought too but I'm not sure what to do at this point. I'm going to talk to a lawyer next week.
