I would like to thank you for referring me to Centex. They were totally honest with us and for the first time I totally understand what it is going on. I will recommend anyone not to use a consolidation company like I did for Brenda in one of the posts. A very nice man told my husband that his credit score was in the 650's and because of that consolidation company standing out like a sore thumb, no one has touched us. He said that if my husband can get a letter from them stating that he has withdrawn from their company and send it over to them, he will process an equity loan for us as if it wasn't even there, and then we would use that money to pay that credit card off, and pay the minimums on the others and then in a year or 2 when there is more equity in the house we can get more and pay the others off.
I somehow owe you a beer... where do you live?
