They undoubtedly sent the summons to your address in Florida, since it's probably the last address they have on record for you.

If you were a bona fide resident of TX when they sued and got a default, you may be able to get the judgment vacated. If successful (which is probable), then they would have to file again in TX (where you live). They can't garnish your wages in TX, so you're fairly safe right now.
