Last loan made 1996, due that year, wasn't paid when requested. Bank was paid 1998 through default by Tenn Student Assist. They were then paid in 1999 by Direct Loans Consol. which is where the loan is now. And in good standing since, might I add! :)
My question is this... original bank that held the loan has been reporting this for 8 years now. Tenn Student Assistance for 6 years. I know unpaid defaults won't ever go away, but once they're paid...please tell me they eventually go away!!!
