Thanks for the replies.
I have only had the c/c for about 6 yrs, and haven't paid for approx. 4 yrs. i live in NY.
How do i make myself judgement proof? I even wonder if the summons is for real- they just stuck it on my door- there are no court stamps etc on it.
i will go down to court anyway + set up a date so they don't get a default.
Can anyone tell me what to do in court? i rent my home, don't own anything, don't get regular paychecks, work freelance. Do i promise i'll pay + give them what ever they want etc?? Thanks.
