I’m not really sure why they have chose to file sue. Maybe they believed Credit One’s re-aging of the account. On the lawsuit papers they actually state that the debt is less than fur years old. I want to sue them; I guess I will take them to small claims court. Let see it is $1000.00 per violation or $1000.00 altogether? I’ve never done this before.

I am assuming the reason I never got served with a summons is after they got my first letter telling them this bill was past the California SOL they realized they were in hot water. Oh BTW they were snooping on my credit report as well. Is that legal? I think they were trying to find out my place of employment. LOL unfortunately the information is inaccurate and it states my old place of employment. ~heh~ I am on a disability retirement and collect SSDI. Oh yeah and my house has been homesteaded.
