I tried to fight it but evidently I did not know that the judge and attorney must play golf together or something. After the judgement, I contacted shitibanks att. and we worked out a payment arrangement. I am paying for my house w/husband, 1 car in my name, rest in hubby's. Yes I am paying interest but not 8%( NC interest on debt). I do not know about getting a loan, have not tried...I do not want to owe anyone else any money......smile. Citibank is really hardnosed. I had 2 other credit cards that worked with me. From this board I found out another was SOL. I figure one of thses days I will make an offer to settle until then I will make my payments. I am not worring anymore, remember there is no debtors prision, they can only make you unhappy if you let the little jerks. Go to Whychats website, read up on NC law, and if they want to be a$$holes ignore them but DO show up at court times.
