i see a lot on here on judgements and people asking things. this is my experience. i see lots of misunderstandings on this. for one..no judge can make you pay anything. it is a piece of paper someone can come back on anytime in so many years and take a asset. i see people asking..do i give them what they want? do i fall on the floor and promise a judge money for the next 50 years? judges wont ask you anything like that. my daughter has 2 on her and in 4 years its been quiet as a mouse. now should they buy a house..its gonna pop up. a car..who knows. maybe not, cause some in the big cities are drooling to give a car away here, credit or not.

but..honestly..say you have very little. say you make small wages..have no house or old house..a car..they truly will do nothing to you but ruin your credit. even wages..they can only take so much after so much you make. its a fear tactic they want to use. yes, they will grab a bank account. yes, they will make your life miserable should they choose. but not always....you will suffer the bad credit for it..but most of us now dont live on credit anymore. we make it cash..and barely at that. we gave up the lifestyle we couldnt afford that got us here. think..options..your age..your income..where you want to be in 5 years. if you decide to pay it..then good for ya! im all for that.

to enforce a judgement requires more time and money from a lawyer. some will do it..some wont. but no judge is gonna make you do anything. its there, up to some CA lawyer to enforce or buy up..should they want. mostly they simply freak you saying im getting your house..your car and your first born. it is not that simple. learn what is exempt for you and what wont be. educate yourself. a judgement, while bad, isnt the worse you can have. should you live in a fancy, paid- for house..drive a few vettes and own a ranch, you may be screwed. but should you live that way, you coulda paid off that debt and rightly they attach one of the vettes. ok ...my 2 cents! hope it helps someone lose some fears. :) its not the end of the world. learn and then make a educated choice. :)
