Here's the thing. You are trying to keep your house, you are reaffirming the mortgage...correct? Bk will relieve you of all of your UNSECURED DEBT, but it will not relieve you of your mortgage payment if you are keeping the house. I think your attorney should have explained this to you. If paying this mortgage is going to be a problem after bk, then maybe you should consider not reaffirming the mortgage. I understand your frustrations, so just vent to us here.
