agree with JK. quite typical. paying will seal it there. they do not have to tell you anything. you can try disputing on the CRs as not yours. if they cant verify it..it will come off. but it also may wake them up and get you calls and letters and a suit. your choice. usually mortgage companies will let you add a note to explain a bad credit notation. as will a CR. opt out. NOW. good luck on a house:)one note on a CR wont hurt you that bad.
