What if you can't find the people you owe a judgment to?

I owe a judgment from August 1997 that has to be paid before I close on a mortgage in August. Problem is, can't find them. It's the owner of a property I lived it. The address listed on the judgment is the property management company, who stated they left that company years ago. There is no listing online, yellow pages, etc. of the owner. I always paid the property management company when I paid the rent.
My question is..if I honestly can't find them, how can I pay them. (I'm beyond arguing whether or not I owe it). I have tried to locate them for 5 years, ever since I found out about it.
Any suggestions?
