On June 3, 2004 I had a pre-trial hearing with the lawyers from Capitol One. Of course the dirt bags just called a local lawyer to have him show up. At the pre-trial hearing, I asked for Stillman Law Office (who is representing CO) to show me my signature or proof of some sort that it was my acccount and also how they came about with the number of $1400 owed when my credit limit as I can remember wasn't over $500.
Before I even received my copy of the pre-trial papers, I received paper from Stillman stating that he had filed A motion for Summary Dispostion, which is what I was in court for today.

The judge said that I didn't have sustancial evidence to prove that the account is not mine but I am entitled to see these documents. The court order Stillman and Capital One to produce me these items by the end of July with us going back to court on Aug. 5.

What happens if Stillman does not get me these documents? And what has been your past experiences? Do they actually produce the papers?

Oh and btw, Stillman Law OFfice didnt show up for this court date either? They called the same guy from the pre-trial hearing!

I do have another question! I live in Michigan. Can my checking account be touch even though there is no judgement against me as of yet?

Thanks again,

Kim
