My bk was discharged last august. I have a FICO of 620. I was very surprised, expecting something with a minus in front of it. Hardly even believed it, but I have learned a lot since then. I had managed to pay off all secured debt before the bk and those positives are still showing and probably helping my FICO score. I have no credit now because I don't need or want it. But, from everything I read, you should be able to start rebuilding immediately after bk. Just be careful not to get any negatives after the bk. Bk is a fresh start........take advantage of that.
