What I find interesting is that they go from 1 year to 'forever'. The recent revisions to the FCRA says the opt-out period is FIVE years - not forever. I recently mailed in an opt-out to all 3 (the toll free number wants a home phone -mine is unlisted and I will NOT give it to THEM !). I quoted the FCRA section and told them I wish to opt-out for the 5 years specified in the FCRA.

So, why the heck don't they give us that option ????
