show in court at every hearing and see if you have something to fight them with. make them spend as much time on you as possible. make sure its filed in the right court..(tx, it cant be small claims)..make them prove every cent they say you owe..that it is indeed your account and not someone;s added into it..make sure the lawyer is licensed to practice there..hmm what else? ask for a continuance if you need one..were you served properly? all kinds of things..fight it. make sure of the exemptions in your state and file them accordingly. once theres a judgement, they still have to file to enforce it. ask for the agreement where this lawyer is assigned legally to represent this company. check out whychats site for other ideas.
