On what grounds would you ask it to be vacated?

If you have a judgment against you, you need to show that you would have prevailed anyway. You also need a solid reason for vacating the judgment and solid evidence, such as you never received notice (because it was sent to the wrong address, for instance).

Vacating a judgment is not a cakewalk. Getting an attorney is your best bet. Is it in a different state than where you live now? If it is, you will need to find an attorney who is licensed in that state.
