No, I think you should fight them tooth and nail. Draw up your defense motion, make sure you have 3 copies. Besides denying their rights to a judgment based on a Mickey Mouse arbitration award, you should deny their claim TOTALLY. Stating that they have produced NO VALID documentation as to the account dates, original creditor, proof that it is your account, vis a vis a copy of ANY signed application, or other reasonable proof that is subject to inspection by you and the Court.

In addition you should claim as an additional defense, SOL, laches, and abuse of civil procedures by bringing a frivolous claim.

When WAS the last time you paid MBNA on the account directly to them while the account was USEABLE- not frozen or suspended or closed.
