Moving and SOL

I currently live in MO where the SOL is 5 years and I'm into the 3 year of two charge offs on two credit cards. My question is when I move to CO where the SOL is 3 years, does the SOL of CO effect me when I move and can I ignore Collection agencies then after the 3rd year comes?
