you can try but dont hold your breath on deferring anything. yep, they make a fortune. wait till you see 30% interest for about 4 years lol. owe 200 and less than year it was up to 800... dunno the diff in what you asked..most lawyers let you pay out the fees..only pay a certain amount plus the filing fee to file. its their bread and butter..is why they let you pay them out. plus, they have a signed contract they can come after you for. lol. i have noted here many varying prices for BK..i paid 1500 in texas for mine. you can wait all you want..they wont care by the time you have "something coming in" and you will be so far in by then,,,without a lump sum , its hopeless. my 2 cents* dunno, we dont have community legal clinics here. sorry.
