Call the Courthouse and see if anything has actually been filed against you.

Send a dispute/validation/cease and desist letter to Midland.

File a complaint on line with the FTC and the Ca. Attorney General's Office.

They are in violation of the FDCPA and the Ca. Consumer Credit Laws, improper notice, false claims of Judicial proccess, no 30 day written notice to dispute or validate.

I doubt VERY MUCH that you will find ANYTHING has been filed against you anywhere.

This outfit is a SCAM SCUM CROOKED CA.
