Look : I did a fraud. I did not pay back the money I owed to the Credit Card. My credit was ruined but after a few years has been re-established. I read that a credit card loan is an”unsecured loan”. Does this mean you can default without consequences ? What bothers me most is that it is not the original owner of the money who is harassing me but a debt collector who is trying to make a buck out of my misery. I did read some legal articles applicable in New Jersey and apparently the procedure is legal although I don’t know how legal the detective action is. Also, I don’t know what I can do at this stage since the judgement was entered against me. I called the court with the Docket no. and they told me there is a judgement. This judgement number was recognized by the Superior Court, as well, although no action was taken as of yet. I would go to Court, as you recommend but at this stage nobody is calling me. I am only advised that the Attorneys for the plaintiff are going to the Court. I do not want this to happen to anybody, in case is a real abuse. And I am willing to fight it. I did write a letter of complaint to the Sheriff’s Office - Internal Affairs Unit. I also wrote a letter to the Superior Court and I cc. both letters to The Governor of New Jersey and to my Senator in DC. As far as getting an attorney, as in my previous mails, I did try and the answer was as if he was representing the plaintiff : “I will try to get the plaintiff attorney to drop $2000-$3000 from the original debt”. Doesn’t seem like he was willing to fight them. Also, I have a couple of questions : - What is SOL ? - What is CA ? - Can anyone legally escape from paying a debt he actually defaulted on ?
