But head Why Chat's advice. Most CA's deal with people who duck service by claiming that they got service. If you're not there to dispute the process server's word, they get a default judgment. If you show up and dispute the process server's word, the judge will say "well, you got here, so you must have gotten notice."

You can't win by ducking service. Period.
