I have to admit, I have a couple cards that have only a $500 limit and I like it that way. Providian is notorious for giving you huge increases, some of them they even charge you for! Then that temptation is there and something happens and you get in trouble. They prey on people who are trying to start again, but they are not there to help, they are there to make sure you get into trouble so they can start their bloodsucking.
