sweety, its up to you. file BK, stick it out..wait till a suit then file BK, (is what i wish to hell i had done and didnt--like JK did, i think hers is the best strategy)..you have to weigh all the pros and cons of each. what you as a person can handle.how old you are..what you want in the future..etc. ask a BK lawyer..read all you can..

here we can get 80% of the appraisal value of the house. my loan guy could tell me real close how much we would get from ours. and what had to come out of it..a years insurance..taxes..(cause i dont have a escrow for those) and any COs on the credit. then we knew how much we got to keep. which i knew i needed to keep our truck and live on. i couldnt pay the cc..we needed that money for other things.

see how much you can get, then decide what is in your best interest to do with it. of course..dont put it in a savings account. lol. i learned what they can do to me if they sue me..and what they cant. i beat myself up daily on being this stupid to get into this mess.

i wish i had a magic answer for us both. we got in over our heads..and are paying for it. even tho the cc are so sneaky..i should have known better and i didnt until now. we only need about 8,000 to get out of debt and i cant find it for the life of me. thats the best i can tell ya hon, weigh all options..and where you want to be in 5 years or 10, what stress you can handle, and then see what to do. i wish you the best ....and will always listen when you need it.. the prob with borrowing money to get out of debt is unless we see and change those spending habits..we will end up worse than before with added debt. using a house to pay off cc is not smart, financially, for most. cause we end up back doin the same stuff and worse off, with our house up for collaterol this time. so this time i am doin much smarter...and not living over my means. we are barely in them, yes, but we are in them. any extra goes to added payment of cc we have, to get them paid off. (need those good trade lines showing paid as agreed)..and man, its hard to change lifestyles. i still fight my old man on it almost daily.

hugssss, my friend. :) you will make a good choice..your bright :)
