You are going about this all wrong, and will likely find your letter to have either NO effect, or a counterproductive effect. If you are within SOL, i.e. if your 1st default with the OC was less than 3 years ago, you should NOT send anyone anything. If you are out of SOL, then send the SOL letter from my website. Your first steps, of course, are to opt out, and dispute anything on your reports that are past SOL with the CRA. That is the only way you will know exactly who you are dealing with that is still reporting.
