I have kind of an interesting one here. My credit reports show an account with USBank, which is my company's corporate credit company. I did have a card with them, which has since been closed off. But through a series of miscommunications when I transferred from Orlando to Ft. Worth, the expense statements for payment of the items on the credit card never got submitted. Through a bunch of e-mails and such, it was finally cleared up, sometime late last year, and all expenses were paid by the company. However, my credit report is showing the Status as Payment after charge off/collection And Paid profit and loss. The past due amount is $0. If this was all taken care of last year, do I just send the CRA's a dispute letter asking them to remove this? And one other question. If I opted out, yet comapnies are still doing promotional inquries, what do I do about that?
