: The easiest way out is to set up payments. Pay them $10/ month. As long as your paying "something" they'll stop calling.

:
: : I understand that the FDCRA protects against harrassing second and third party collection agency callers that are calling on behalf of the creditor. But what if the creditor is a major credit card company and has collection callers in house under the same company name? Is there anything that can be done to stop the calls?
: : In addition, I had a previous number at my parents' house that was listed as the contact number. Since then, I have changed my number with all of my creditors. However, they keep calling and harrassing my parents. Both my parents and I have told them to stop calling, but they have not. What can I do about this "indirect" phone harrassment?
: : Any information would be appreciated, especially with a copy to mthalbe@hotmail.com. Thanks.

*** Write them a Seize And Assist Letter that means you have no way to pay them right now. They can not contact you after you send them that letter. Make sure you send it certified!!!
