Gulf States Success(?)

I just got off the phone with Gulf States Credit. The person to whom I spoke seemed a little slow, but found my collection item quickly using my SSN, and accepted a credit card payment over the phone. The information was then verified by a manager before he confirmed my approval for the charge to my credit card. He also said they would be sending a computer-generated letter confirming payment to me once the charge clears. The number I called which gave me the sucess was 1-800-425-0006. This was one of their Sprint accounts.
