I live in one state now, the bank is incoporated in a 2nd state, and I used to live in a 3rd state 12 years ago when this chargeoff occurred that a bank had hired a law firm in my current home state to come after me for...

Unfortunately the 3rd state( the one I used to live in) has a 15 year written contract limitation on statutes?

I always thought the state the bank was incorp in was the one governing the debt, or perhaps the one I live in now. They say its the state I lived in at the time.

Anyone seen anything like this before, so far 2 credit specialist lawyers have no clue....?

thanks for any help
