Thanks for your prompt and helpful response.
I know that it is an internal collection agency and part of the hospital.
When I request something in writing to state that they wlll not report anything to the credit bureaus, they refuse. They guarantee (verbally) that they will not report this to the bureaus. Should I trust them? They refuse to send the debt back to the original hospital, and the hospital agrees that they can't get it back.
Should I just pay the hospital collection agency based upon trust or what?
