One of the main reasons I have so much credit card debt is because of my husbands truck! About four 1/2 years ago my husband decided that he had to have this big ol' diesel Ford truck. He did need a new truck, but we could have found something much cheaper.He couldn't get the thing totally financed so he made arangements with his boss to subtract payments on a personal loan from his paycheck. To make a long story short,we had a total of $970.00 truck payments a month, plus a $334.00 car payment. All this plus rent, food, utilities, insurance,etc. coming out of a less than $4000.00 dollar a month paycheck. We have two children and I have a daughter from a previous marriage that was in college at the time. Not to mention that all of a sudden he starts spending close to $170.00 to $200.00 on G-D knows-what a week. He just kept getting cash out of the teller time and time again.( I saved all these receipts to remind myself of what a sh-t he was being at this time)Needless to say I had to use my credit card for crazy stuff like school fees and school clothes and school supplies and food and toilet paper.....and rent and utilities...ya'll get the picture. Then he lost his job and was out of work for 5 months.He sat at the computer for about 4 months and refused to look for a job, so we got even more behind.We he did go back to work it was for much less money. I had to stop paying on the cards,you can guess the rest and of course ...it's all my fault.I was afraid to stand up to him, still am , he has a violent temper....but if you can stand up to your husband...DO IT...Don't let him take you down into this mess I now find myself in....Good Luck
