EXACTLY when did you default 4 years ago ? A creditor can NOT look into your bank account - not even with a judgment. Unless you're already being sued, you have nothing to worry about in keeping the money in your bank for 5 days. There's also no way they can even find out you got the check to deposit in the first place.
