It was almost 9 months ago that i answered that phone call, so i actually dont rememeber if there was a message saying "Your call may be recorded or monitored". I believe maybe not. Because I picked up the phone, they immediately asked if I was this person, and I said yes. If they would have told me this call maybe recorded, then I would have been alarmed and not to say much.

Great that you are working on a paralegal degree to help consumers.

I did owe the money while i was in college, and was dumb enough to mess with my credit. But it was five, six years ago. Recent years my credit has been absolutely clean. Still, have to fight with those bad history and this new lawsuit. And sometimes the collection agency is just too rude and mean.... hope the nightmare will be over soon.
