At this in a certain way because I remember last year my husband wanted to buy Christmas presents for his mother and brother and sister in law and their kids and then me and me for him etc. I told him that I don't want anything and he is not to buy me anything and then he thought Christmas is not Christmas without presents. He had no idea how to say "I DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY" But he had to put it on the credit card anyhow. It was promised that taxes would pay them off, but then taxes rolled around and we didn't get enough money to put on it on the credit cards, and even if we did none of it went to the credit cards anyhow because he wanted something else. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
