Need some advice here, just got a letter from A$$, copy below: RE: XXXXXXXXX Balance Past Due: $ XXXXXXX Dear XXXXXX, It is our pleasure to welcome you as a new customer of ASSET ACCPTANCE, LLC. Your account with the above mentioned creditor has been purchased and is now owned by Assett Acceptance, LLC. In order to insure proper credit for any payments it is necesary that all future payments be made to: ASSET ACCEPTANCE LLC

Warren, Mi. 48090 Uness you notify this office within 30 days after recieving this notice that you dispute the validity of this debt or any portion therof, this office will assume the debt is valid. First Notice
OK............the debt is 16 months away from SOL and there was no signed agreement......it was one of the credit lines for a business account where you write the business a check, maybe signing the check is a form of agreement but there was never an application or anything......just came in the mail and a few phone calls to verify it was recieved.
Am I better to leave it alone, answer it and ask for validation or what. Any help is appreciated !! The debt amount is about 20K.
