The hubby and I were talking about all of this tonight. We are going into court Pro Se against an attorney with a degree in law from Harvard. (I looked her up) The sad part is if we pay for an attorney to defend us, we would have to skip this month's house payment, car payment, and possibly our electric bill! If we win, they would reimburse us for those costs, but if we lose, we would be in a lot of trouble financially. Now, if this were our debt, the reason we would be in court is for not paying a debt. See the irony?
