Whether the charges stop or not really depends on a lot of factors, including the signed agreement with the OC, your state laws (usury, statute of limitations, etc.), and federal law. And the DOLA is not always a good indicator of when the account first became delinquent.

What state are you in? And when was the last time you paid the ORIGINAL creditor before you missed a payment AND never caught up again?
