I have 20,000 dollars life insurance with my 2 children as beneficiary. I do not own a home or property. My assets are 10,000 dollar bank account, some personnel property, jewelry, furniture etc. My debts are 20,000 dollars in credit cards. My question. If I die and my debt remains the same, are my children liable for the debt. Will they take my insurance, bank account and personnel property to pay this debt. How will the law work in this case. Thank you.
