If your case has already been filed, then you really do NOT have to amend your papers to include this 'new' collection agency. If yours is a no-asset CH 7, the debt will be discharged, regardless of who is collecting on it and since you've listed the original creditor, that should suffice.

Debts get shuffled around from CA to CA so fast, it can be impossible to keep up with them and if people had to amend schedules every time that happened, it would cost a lot of time, filing fees and atty's fees.
