You said the vehicle was repossed 6 years ago. Right? The SOL is four years. That's it, the debt is passed the SOL, they can do absolutely nothing. THEY WILL CONTINUE TO TAKE MORE AND MORE FROM YOU IF YOU LET THEM.
Don't talk to them. Don't answer the phone, let the machine pick up. Send the letter certified/return receipt. Chnage your phone number.

I think you need to at least TALK to a consumer lawyer and tell him your story. The repo letter explains what you need to know. But, you sound a little nervous to me, and I think you need to hear all of this from a professional. Good Luck, and DON'T TALK TO THEM ANYMORE!!
