If they call again, hang up immediately. Don't feel bad about doing so. There is no law or even ettiquite code requiring you to talk to everyone who phones you. There is nothing you can say to them that will change what they are trying to do. You have to send letters. Follow WhyChat's advice. Change your bank account now. They will continue to take money, perhaps in arbitrarily increasing amounts. They aren't producing any papers because they don't have any. If they "take you to court," you can win handily because of their lack of documentation and also the fact that the alleged debt is out of SOL.
