They can not come into your house and take your stuff. There are exemptions. What state are you in. Truth of the matter is, used, "stuff" just insn't worth much at sheriff sale. I filed bk, and my attorney told me that any ONE item could be worth 400.00 at sheriff sale. So, unless you are importing fine art from Europe, don't worry about your stuff.
What they can do is seize your bank account, possibly garnish your wages. If you have ever paid the original credit with your current checking account, they have your banking info. Take your money and open a different checking account with someone else (spouse) as primary, if possible. They can also lean your property in some states. What state are you in.
