Any time you walk into a court of law, you have something to worry about. You never know the thought processes of the judge and if being Pro Se will help or hurt you with that judge. I did A LOT of research, so hopefully he will not hold the fact that we didn't hire an attorney against us. I also didn't file a countersuit, request any documents, and we are not presenting much in the way of evidence, just evidence that points to the lack of validity of their evidence. Hopefully the plaintiff will withdraw their complaint, I gave them the opportunity to end this now. The way I wrote my answer, it leaves the impression that I will hire an attorney and sue for multiple FDCPA violations as soon as the judge rules on the case if they don't drop the suit.
